The Turbo S takes the performance stakes to a whole new level. The 911 Turbo's force-fed powertrain may no longer be unique among 911s, but this latest S version is still the range's most devastating in terms of performance. Headline figures of 560bhp (40bhp more than the Turbo) and a colossal 750Nm of torque produced from 2,250rpm mean the 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six engine delivers the goods. This legendary Turbo S is truly a collectors car. 

The 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S is the first 911 ever to crack 3.0 seconds for the 0-100km/h sprint, Porsche’s engineers claim 2.6 seconds is the quickest they’ve seen in testing. Power comes from a turbocharged 3.8-litre six-cylinder engine – which is basically the same as the previous-generation (997) models – but with the 991 power lifts yet again to 383kW (up 15kW) in the Turbo and 412kW (up 22kW) in the Turbo S. Torque also increases - 660Nm (up 10Nm) for the Turbo, and 710Nm (up 10Nm) for the Turbo S.
